Volunteer
If you are interested in becoming one of our dedicated volunteers, call Wild Bird Rescue at 940-691-0828 and request a volunteer information package be mailed to you. You can also stop in and pick one up!
All volunteers must go through an Initial Volunteer Orientation.
All volunteers must be at least 18 years old. Volunteers 16 and 17 years old must volunteer with an adult.
The majority of volunteers are needed for bird care during baby season (April through September).
Off-season volunteers are needed for fund raising, special events and outreach.
Two main volunteer areas: Bird Care and Building and Maintenance
